Courtesy Pay
Courtesy Pay is a non-contractual courtesy, offered at Warren Federal Credit Union's discretion. This service adds a measure of protection to the member's checking account. Courtesy Pay may cover your insufficient funds checks, up to a $750 limit (including fees). Instead of returning the check to the merchant because of insufficient funds, Warren Federal Credit Union may pay the check, for a $25.00 fee per occurrence, and save any additional charges that may be incurred from the merchant.
While it is not an invitation to overdraw your account, it is an added layer of safety should you accidentally write checks for more than you have in your account, or an inadvertent error that causes the account to become overdrawn. You should consult with the Credit Union regarding our formal overdraft services via your account or an overdraft line of credit, which may better serve your needs.
